For 125 years, Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary School has provided thousands of Sun Prairie area children with a high quality Catholic education. With humble beginnings, the Sisters of Notre Dame came to the call of a young church seeking to educate their youth with the mission of Christ. Throughout the years, the guidance and support of our parish priests has enabled this gift of a Catholic school education to thrive.

In 2013 Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary Parish celebrated their Sesquicentennial, 150 years serving the Sun Prairie faithful. Young and old, including many original descendants of the Church´s founding, celebrated throughout the year. Sacred Hearts School brought together alumni and friends to reunite and celebrate the school and parish that September, and our rich history was seen in many pictures, yearbooks, and letters. Everyone attending was brought together by our one common gift - Sacred Hearts School.
