Sacred Hearts Kindergarten Registration is NOW OPEN for families with a student currently enrolled.
New family Registration will open Jan. 30, 2025.
Overview
- Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary Catholic School registration is held in the spring. Grade size is limited to 50 students unless approved by administration.
  
  Kindergarteners must be 5-years-old on or before September 1st of the year they enroll. For more information about students entering Kindergarten, please read the letter from our principal.
  
  First graders must be 6-years-old on or before September 1st of the year they enroll.
Transportation
- K-8: AM Arrival: If using drop off in front of school on Columbus St:
  
  Pull up in drop off zone as far as you can
  
  Please have students ready to depart the vehicle to ensure the drop off is efficient
  
  Students should only exit car on the curbside
  
  Students will walk around to the back playground to await the morning bell. Grades 7&8 will be going to the gym.
  
  K - 8: PM Dismissal: iDismiss App:
  
  In order to assure efficiency dismissal, we are continuing to use the “iDismiss” app.
  
  Every family will receive at Visiting Night two tags with a number linked to their family/children. Keep this in your vehicle and place it on your rearview mirror when coming to pick up. If there are more than two cars in your family (e.g. other parent, grandparent, etc.) please send an email to [email protected] and we will make additional tags.
  
  Carpool Monitor inputs number into iDismiss system when you pull into the pick-up zone.
  
  System sends notification to the homeroom teacher to dismiss student(s).
  
  Your children will not be dismissed until you are in the carpool.
  
  Please remind your children each day how they are going home.
Admission
- Registration will be open to new applicants on a first-come, first-serve basis with preference given to the following order:
  
  A parent is a faculty/school or parish staff member of Sacred Hearts, St. Albert's or Holy Family in Waterloo.
  
  Catholic families who are registered, contributing members of Sacred Hearts, St. Albert's or Holy Family in Waterloo.
  
  Registered members of other Catholic parishes.
  
  Non-Catholic families.
  
  School administration will have final discretion regarding enrollment of students.
  
  New families, please fill out the Prospective Student Form for K-8 and we will reach out to you to schedule a time to meet with the principal and tour the school.

  Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary Catholic School is fully accredited by the Wisconsin Religious & Independent School Association (WRISA) based on the successful completion of annual goals to meet established state and diocesan standards.
  
  Students attending Sacred Hearts School go on to attend Sun Prairie and other area private and public high schools. We often hear that high school teachers know right away who the Sacred Hearts School students are because of their character, involvement, and academic preparedness. We are proud of the accomplishments of our alumni from high school, into college, and in the global community. Many alumni continue to have a strong connection to the school and fellow classmates.
